Assemblymember Boerner Responds to Project Vela with Density Bonus Bill

SACRAMENTO, CA. — Today, Assembly Bill (AB) 87 by Assemblymember Tasha Boerner (D-Encinitas) with 54-0 votes on the Assembly Floor and is headed to the Governor’s desk. AB 87 would ensure that Density Bonus Law is used primarily on building residential units instead of high-rise hotels.

San Diego State & County Leaders Unite to Crack Down on Child Sex Trafficking

This bill would strengthen the penalties for adults who solicit a minor for sex and establish a state grant program for survivors of human trafficking.

Assemblymember Boerner Broadband Internet Affordability Bill Advances

SACRAMENTO, CA. — Today, Assembly Bill (AB) 353 by Assemblymember Tasha Boerner (D-Encinitas) passed the Assembly Communications and Conveyance Committee. AB 353 would require internet service providers operating in California to offer affordable home internet to eligible California residents.
