Everyone deserves a relationship where they are loved, supported, and safe. If you or someone you love may be in an abusive situation, please use one of these local resources to explore your options. Domestic violence is preventable, and there are resources available to help anyone who is experiencing relationship or domestic violence. (updated Nov. 2023)

North County Lifeline provides emergency shelter, counseling & therapy, and supportive services for people fleeing domestic violence. They also work to prevent human trafficking and build self-reliance among San Diegans of all ages and backgrounds. Click here to visit their website.

Center for Community Solutions

The Center for Community Solutions provides emergency and long-term shelter for people fleeing domestic violence situations, legal services, and counseling services. YWCA San Diego (Vi McKinney Becky’s House Shelter)

The YWCA Becky’s House Shelter provides temporary, safe housing for people in need of immediate protection from domestic violence situations. They also provide crisis counseling and supportive services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
