__SALUTATION__
California's Legislature may have convened for the year, but that doesn't mean legislators are on vacation for the next few months. I'll be spending my time back in #AD77 out in the community and working hard to prepare for the coming year.
We've got plenty of events planned for the next few months, including my first annual Environmental Hero Awards on October 7th. You're invited to join me and my team to honor several regional environmental leaders at the ceremony, which will take place at the La Jolla Recreation Center from 12pm to 1:30pm.
Cheers,
Assemblymember Tasha Boerner
Assemblymember, 77th District
P.S. My office is available every day to talk with you about your concerns or help connect you with resources. You can reach us at (760) 434-7605 or Assemblymember.Boerner@assembly.ca.gov.

U.S. Army Recruiting Week in San Diego
This week, I had the honor of presenting a joint resolution on behalf of my colleagues from the San Diego delegation to commemorate U.S. Army Recruiting Week, a celebration of our armed forces and those who serve. We got to witness the swearing-in of nearly 40 future soldiers, and I received a ceremonial baton from the Golden Knights, the Army's premier parachute team. Go Army!
Check Presentation to the City of Del Mar
It was an honor to present a ceremonial check to the Del Mar City Council this week to represent $500,000 of the $4 million total that I secured in this year's state budget to help fund projects in #AD77.
The Del Mar Sand Replenishment Project will preserve critical natural resources and prevent coastal erosion, damage to wildlife habitats, and provide greater public access to our beautiful beaches and coastline.
