__SALUTATION__

Assemblymember Tasha BoernerThis week, I am touring our state with the California Foundation on the Environment and the Economy to learn about extraordinary innovations that help make our state an environmental champion and an economic powerhouse.

These include impressive operations like Metropolitan Water District's Pure Water facility and the Boeing Satellite Factory in El Segundo, which is the largest satellite factory in the world.

Several of the stops on the end of our tour are located within #AD77, including Anaergia, whose bioenergy facility we visited yesterday, and the Metropolitan Transit System's Blue Line trolley, which we rode into UTC. We should all take pride in the fact that our region is helping lead the state in cutting-edge developments in energy and a more sustainable future!

Cheers,

Did you know that Anaergia's headquarters are located in Carlsbad? This is Yaniv Scherson, an Encinitas resident, who joined us to show us around their facility yesterday.
