__SALUTATION__

Assemblymember Tasha BoernerDo you have an idea that you think would make a good law? This is your chance to share your ideas with me and my team!

Complete this form to share your idea - it can be as big as a new state agency, or as small as making a few tweaks to a law that's already on the books.

Some of the most impactful laws we've passed through the Legislature began as ideas from residents who care about their communities and want to take action to improve it.

Cheers,

Piazza Costanza Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Piazza Costanza Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

This week I joined the Little Italy Association to honor Margaret "Midge" Costanza, a truly remarkable woman in San Diego's history who worked in President Jimmy Carter's administration and used her position to advocate for people who previously had little to no voice in politics, including women, LGBTQ+ people, and people with disabilities. She was a fierce advocate for women's rights, and after her time in the White House moved to San Diego where she left a considerable legacy on our community.

The Little Italy Association's Board of Directors dedicated their newest piazza to Midge to honor her life and hard work, and I was honored to join them in celebrating such an impressive woman.

Coronado Public Library Check Presentation

Coronado Public Library Check Presentation

Yesterday, I presented members of the Coronado City Council with a $150,000 budget allocation from the state to help them refurbish the city's public library.

Our #AD77 community thrives when we invest in it, which is why upgrading public services like libraries is so important to me. I can't wait to see the new and improved library and the investment into Coronado's future!

San Diego Fire-Rescue Department Check Presentation

San Diego Fire-Rescue Department Check Presentation

I was honored to present the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department with $250,000 to help fund the first steps in refurbishing their Northern Garage station in La Jolla. Keeping our residents and visitors safe is no small task, and it is important that our public safety officers have the resources they need to do their jobs.
