FREE SANDBAGS
Attention residents of #AD77! With the rain coming in tomorrow, it is important to be prepared. Sandbags are a good way to keep your home and belongings safe from flooding, and many cities have sandbags available for residents at no cost. If you are worried about potential flooding, you can pick up free sandbags at any of these locations!
Ocean Beach Woman's Club 100th Anniversary
#TeamTasha presented the Ocean Beach Woman's Club with an Assembly Resolution commemorating their 100th anniversary at their 100 Year Kickoff Party this week! Since 1924, the Ocean Beach Woman's Club has supported the development of OB into the thriving community that it is today.

Pacific Beach Town Council Installation Dinner
Congratulations to the newly-installed Board of Directors of the Pacific Beach Town Council! I had a wonderful time celebrating with Board members and learning about their experiences and great plans for our community. I look forward to the good work that the board will do this year.

Cal Volunteers: Connecting Neighbors to Neighbors Grant Program is Accepting Applications!
Several Cal Volunteers grant programs are now accepting applications! The Connecting Neighbors to Neighbors program is accepting applications from local governments looking to improve their ongoing partnerships with non-profits and community organizations to increase programming and service to the surrounding communities. City of San Diego: Ocean Beach Pier Survey
Do you live, work, or play in Ocean Beach? Have you visited the iconic Ocean Beach Pier recently? The City of San Diego is looking to hear from residents about the Ocean Beach Pier Renewal Project!
The City has identified three preliminary design concepts for the new pier, and they're looking for feedback on each of the designs. Assembly District 77: Internship Program
My office is now accepting applications for our Internship Program, located at my District Office in Solana Beach. The internship is open to all individuals with an interest in learning more about state government and public service while building professional skills.
Interns will work as unpaid volunteers with flexible part-time hours. This role requires a three-month commitment, with flexible part-time hours and flexible start/end dates.

Need help on your water bills? The San Diego County Water Authority is partnering with the Metropolitan Area Advisory Committee of San Diego County and Campesinos Unidos, Inc. to help spread awareness of the federal Low-Income Household Water Assistance Program!
