One of the most challenging parts of my job is being away from my kids Monday through Thursday when I'm in Sacramento. So, this past week, it was a joy to have Máté & Maya join me in the Capitol! Maya comes up regularly, but this was Máté's first time since 2019. They joined me on the Assembly Floor, watched several committee hearings, and sat in on individual meetings on legislation, broadband, and the environment.
As a parent, leaving your kids to go to work isn't easy, but it makes the moments you get to spend with them more memorable.
This is just a reminder that if you, your class, or your school are ever in Sacramento, my team and I would love to greet you in my office, organize a tour, and, if possible, introduce you on the Assembly Floor!
Cheers,
Assemblymember Tasha Boerner
Assemblymember, 77th District
P.S. My office is available every day to talk with you about your concerns or help connect you with resources. You can reach us at (858) 481-7704 or Assemblymember.Boerner@assembly.ca.gov.

E-Bike Bills Pass Senate Transportation
My bills on E-Bike Safety Training & the online Bike Smart Handbook passed Senate Transportation with unanimous, bipartisan support!

Medi-Cal Transportation Bill Passes Senate Health
My bill, Assembly Bill 2043, received bipartisan and unanimous support in the Senate Health Committee. This legislation would ensure transportation to health services locations remains available by requiring reimbursement to public transit operators for non-medical and non-emergency medical transportation services.

We are grateful for the leadership of these two Vice Admirals and their service for our country.

My team and I participated in Community Climate Action Day in San Diego. It's great to see over a hundred volunteers come together to enhance and better our state parks. Thank you to California Volunteers and the County of San Diego for providing our district with such a wonderful event.
