__SALUTATION__
April marks one of the busiest times of the legislative year - committee season. For the next month, my Assembly colleagues and I will be hearing hundreds of Assembly bills in our respective committees. If a bill passes, it will move forward in the legislative process, but if the bill fails, it will stop moving for the year. Bills that die in committees can be introduced again the following year.
Recently, I presented a bill, AB 2564, to allocate permanent funding to help eligible seniors and disabled Californians stay in their homes.
I will keep you updated as these bills move forward.
Cheers,
Assemblymember Tasha Boerner
Assemblymember, 77th District
P.S. My office is available every day to talk with you about your concerns or help connect you with resources. You can reach us at (858) 481-7704 or Assemblymember.Boerner@assembly.ca.gov.
