Girl scouts are empowered to be community leaders. La Mesa Service Unit 688 was at the Capitol last week to learn about our state government. This retreat in Sacramento is building our girl scouts to be tomorrow's leaders!
Bill on Utility Rate Adjustments Passes Senate Energy
AB 2666 passed the Senate Energy Committee! With the cost of living going up yearly, every dollar counts.
AB 2666 would require the California Public Utilities Commission to determine if rates were unreasonably set and adjust accordingly.
First All-Electric Tugboat
The first all-electric tugboat was christened earlier this week! This is incredible as our state makes strides toward a more sustainable future. Team Tasha was happy to attend this historic event.

Unfortunately, Gerry Sova could not make it due to medical reasons, but we were happy to present his right-hand man with a certificate highlighting the success of Gerry's business.

Assembly District 77: Fall 2024 Internship Program
My office is accepting applications for our Fall 2024 Internship Program, located at my District Office in Solana Beach. The internship is open to all individuals with an interest in learning more about state government and public service while building professional skills.
Interns will work as unpaid volunteers with flexible part-time hours. This role requires a three-month commitment, with flexible part-time hours and flexible start/end dates.

BrightLife Kids and Soluna are two free apps to help families raise happy, healthy young minds.
