The Country's First All-Electric Cranes
The Port of San Diego made history with the first all-electric mobile cranes in the country! California is making strides toward a green energy future, and the Port of San Diego is playing its part in leading the charge.

Governor Gavin Newsom SIGNED AB 2666! AB 2666 requires the CPUC to determine if rates were reasonably set for investor-owned utilities (IOUs) and adjust the approved rate of return downward at the next general rate case if the IOU made excess profits at the previous general rate case.
LATINO HERITAGE MONTH SPOTLIGHT |
Dr. Beatriz Villarreal
Our second honoree for Latino Heritage Month is Dr. Beatriz Villarreal.
Since arriving in the United States in 1984, Dr. Beatriz Villarreal has committed to helping her community. She has designed several social assistance programs, including the Spectrum Program, a program dedicated to children in Juvenile Hall in San Diego. The Spectrum Program changed her life, and after realizing that 70% of children in jail were Latino, she established the Mano a Mano Foundation. This organization gives families the skills to work together better and helps parents get the tools they need to help their children succeed.
Thank you for dedicating your life to making our communities better!
