__SALUTATION__
For many people, this was a shorter week at work or school, but we must not forget the reason why. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a trailblazer in the fight for racial justice, and we celebrate his legacy each year on his birthday with a day of service, a "day on" rather than a day off.
While the fight for equality is far from over, let us be reminded to celebrate the progress we have made across our communities together.
Cheers,
Assemblymember Tasha Boerner
Assemblymember, 77th District
P.S. My office is available every day to talk with you about your concerns or help connect you with resources. You can reach us at (858) 481-7704 or Assemblymember.Boerner@assembly.ca.gov.
